Dr Željko Vučković
Željko Vučković was born in 1960, in Zrenjanin.He had worked in The Matica Srpska Library (it is the central library of Vojvodina, founded in 1826., which has over 3 million publications and the biggest electronic catalogue of publications in Yugoslavia) as a librarian , a professional coordinator and as a chief of Department for development (1987-2007). Željko Vučković is professor of Librarianship at Faculty of Pedagogy, Sombor. Vučković the youngest winner of the highest award for librarianship in Serbia (Milorad Panic Surep award ,1997). Fields of his professional and scietific interest are: relationship between libraries and the society, public libraries, automatization of library, business ethics, knowledge management etc. He published over 50 papers and 10 books. He has been the editor in chief of the professional magazine “Librarian”. He has been the president of Serbia Library Associaton from June 2009.

Vesna Crnogorac
Vesna Crnogorac, master of Law and librarian. Since 2006, she has been the Professional secretary of the Serbia Library Association. From 1990 till 1995 she worked as a jurist in local government. From 1995 – 1998 she was director and the main editor of the monthly local magazine and professional journalist. For the last eleven years she has worked in the librarian domain, for seven years (1998 – 2005) she has been the director of the Public Library G. Han. She has been the coordinator and teacher of the accredited seminares for professional development of school librarians. She participated in various international and domestic conferences and professional meetings. She is the member of Organization committees for preparation of International scientific conferentiones (SLA). She has published over 30 professional papers in the librarian domain. She has been the member of the other comittees and governing bodies of the SLA. She has been the member of the editorial board of of the professional magazine “Librarian”.
